My Epson R260 quit working- read up online what the cause was (counters in printer). I downloaded the WIC Utility package and sure enough the counter was at 100.70%. I downloaded the Reset Key- at first it didn't work. Turned the printer off & on as instructed. Still didn't work. Finally I turned the monitoring on- reset the printer. Then turned monitoring off again and reset the printer & it finally worked. I think the monitoring just got hung up somehow- computers!!! I'm very thankful I'm good for another few years. It only cost $9.99 instead of the price of buying another printer (and I have all these ink cartridges that would go to waste)- OR a repair bill & would be without it while being fixed. Would I buy another Epson printer- NO- but would I recommend 2manuals for the fix- Definitely.

Thank You. I had just bought a new printer and Epson asked to update the firmware...unfortunately in the middle of the update my power shut off. I thought for sure I had deep sixed my brand new device. Even on the Epson website I could not find a manual firmware recover for my printer and OS version...others printers yes, but not this one. I found you website and thought I'd give it a try. Horray, My printer is back working again. While I am not happy to have to pay someone else for something that Epson should have given for free, your price was with-in reason and your software was easy to use.

Hi John, I just want to thank you so much for the reset key and software. I paid you $9.99 to get those lights to stop flashing and it the software worked in a matter of minutes! Good day. I have to clean my printer head EVERY hour. Then it prints fine. Until I leave it for an hour. So this leads to waste pad full and I have to purchase a key every time. Is there another way to go around this problem please? I cannot afford to buy a key every week.

You have to make 2 things
- clean parking station first - then inks will not dry on printhead;
- use high quality inks.
