About EPSON LFP Remote Panel

EPSON LFP Remote Panel gives the user a broad range of control over the printer, to obtain better print quality in printing on various media.

Note:

In this User's Guide, screens of dialog boxes are intended for EPSON Stylus Pro 4400 and 4800.

The original printer driver and EPSON Status Monitor 3 must be installed to use this software. For more details, see System Requirements.

Select the printer from the Printer list, and you can access the following functions by clicking the icon in the EPSON LFP Remote Panel main dialog box:

• Media Adjustment:
  Use this function to make various settings on media and your printer. See Media Adjustment Dialog Box.

• Power Cleaning:
  Use this function if nozzles remain clogged after a normal head cleaning. See Power Cleaning.

• Firmware Updater:
  Use this function to update the firmware installed in your printer. See Firmware Updater.

• Media Counter Settings:
  Use this function to count the quantity of media remaining so that an alert can be made. See Media Counter Settings.

• Paper Feed Adjuster:
  Use this function to make settings on Paper Feed and MicroWeave settings. See Paper Feed Adjuster Dialog Box.

• Printer Watcher:
  Use this function to monitor the printer status. See Printer Watcher.

Note:

When you place the mouse pointer over the icon, the description of the utility appears.

You may need to scroll to the bottom of the dialog box.
