Having used Epson "reset" utility once, with success on my XP 830, it allowed me a bit more printing time until it just stopped cold. Research found this site. My download from 2manuals was easy as was the entire process and my printer is working once again, no thanks to Epson. I removed the ink pad chamber and replaced the saturated pads with some of my wife's cotton make up pads...Ha ! We'll see how long that lasts. Very similar material. Cheers and thanks for a good product !!

I replaced the waste ink pad assembly on my Epson XP-800, not understanding that there were internal counters needing to be reset. The WIC Reset Utility and the WIC RESET KEY, along with the replacement waste ink pad assembly, have restored my printer to me. Thanks for making it so easy and, most importantly, having it work like you said it would.

My XP-4100 printer has recognized the old (but new) empty cartridge, I can also refill it with a syringe. This is a good economic solution.

I have modified the firmware of an Epson wf3620 with the firmware key to make the printer run with chipless ink cartridges. The instructions were clear but must be followed exactly in order for the process to be successful. I am very happy with the result as I have the freedom to use oem ink or not depending on my needs. No oem cartridges now work perfectly well. Well done wic utility people.

It took me a while to actually understand how to locate the Epson Status Monitor 3. It was a simple disable after that and a simple running of the program after that. I am up and running again!!! Thanks.

I successfuly and easily replaced my waste kit.
Experienced only one issue on XP635: an unexpected screw made the replacement a bit difficult.
I reported this point, hoping the leaflet could be updated.

The method described in program was easy to follow. My only problem was having no computer shortcut. The information which came with the key explained it to me, again no problem. It the reset worked.

My Epson XP-800 max'd out on counters and died on me. Screen of death with printer disabled by manufacturers internal firmware.
Researched the web and found these guys.
The reset process and key purchase was easy to follow and after a few registration steps and a simple paypal transaction the reset key arrived, was entered and the printer was back working again. Saved me at least £80 on a new basic 3-in-1 printer plus ensured my existing ink supplies were not useless

Good morning.
I have two questions, if you´re so kind to help me.
1) The expiration date key. Does it mean once we get it, we have a period to use it? Or what the expiration date referenced to?
2) If the printer has a problem and we have to format it again, will the key information lost and we need a new one, or does it be able to be used again?.

Oh my golly, I didn't think that would work, but it fixed it in about 30 seconds. Even though I hadn't been able to disable the process monitor thing that it says do first, the reset program still worked instantly when I ran it on an Epson XP-540. If there is one thing that gets my goat in terms of being so unethical both a rip-off financially and environmentally unsustainable, its the way printer companies rip us off. So am super grateful to have found a way round this. For a much more reasonable price than the printer shop told us, and something I could do at home when I needed the printer urgently for work! Thanks so much!

XP322 ran out of copies and froze up. I read up that it was an Epson device to sell more printers but discovered your site just before treating it to a display of bad temper. The 20% of extra time will make the replacement question easier and i can use my stock of ink up on this 4 year old printer. I may even use your services to zero life the counter as it isn't a bad device really. Thank you so much.

My Artisan 837 just tried to hose me with the waste ink pad error. The printer was working just fine then bam. I bit the bullet and bought this utility and it worked GREAT. Reset the ink pad error and all is well.
Best $10 I've spent in a LONG time. Epson deliberately tried to end the printer life for NO REASON... cept to sell more printers. Do NOT let them get away with it. I'm sure eventually this thing will start printing poorly
and THEN I'll buy another one....but until then Epson can....... etc..etc.

after only cleaning the printer (Canon G3400) three times in a short period, the waste counter was on 100% (almost new printer).
tried the free tools which you can download to reset the counter, they all didn't work. Finally decided to buy the key here and didn't believe it would work. But it did, i can use my printer again and I am happy.

I don't like throwing something (a printer in this case) away and consuming our earth's resources (buying a new printer) just because Epson make it difficult for me to avoid doing this. I wish Epson would make products that can be maintained by the product owner and this way contributes to the well being of our planet.
This reset utility worked 'as described' and now, having cleaned my ink pads, I can get more value from the printer I already own.

First thoughts were $9.99 is a bit much but you've got to see this in context. My printer is perfectly ok. EPSON are trying to rip me off to buy a new one. These guys have the skills to let me get one over on those rip-offs at EPSON.
