FIRMWARE KEY is required for changing printers firmware.

WIC Reset Utility is used to change printers firmware in following cases:

1. Change to Chipless Firmware - it means printer will not need IC Chips on ink cartridges. Ink levels will be frozen to 100% for ever.
2. Downgrade firmware - this is required when NON ORIGINAL ink cartridges are NOT recognized by printer. This is because printers firmware has been updated from Epson server to newest firmware where not original ink cartridges are forbidden to be used. In this case You have to Downgrade firmware back to old.

I have an Epson PX710w it is a brilliant printer, happy was I...but then.... the now infamous \"end of life\" message appeared. After hours of research I found that Epson had a free download to reset and service printer, I downloaded only to find it did not work. On contacting epsonuk I was told that there is no reset utility or program for uk Epson printers and that I must take it to my local Epson service centre.... this would cost £80 plus vat and parts! more than a new printer. After advice from forums and many ebay offers of a \"genuine\" reset utility/key, I found 2manuals.com. through them I \"chatted\" with John who assured me it would work, despite Epson uk advice, and so proceeded to purchase. from start to finish it took less than ten minutes and I now have a fully working printer for a Meer $10 (about £8) I cannot recommend this company any higher ..... thank you very much 2manuals and John and one up on big greedy corporation\'s. Great things! I had some problems with my Epson 2100. The printer stopped to work. However, when I read the manual it was possible for me to disable the indicator of the problem and now the printer works well again. The service program is also a great think! Thanks.

Wow! Epson wanted standard charge of £118.80 to replace my ink pads. So I bought a set for about a fiver (on eBay). But then Epson would not provide a reset code - they still wanted £118. 80. Then I came across this service and hey presto they provided a code for under a tenner. They deserve all the business they can get. Well done. From Ken Fuller

Thrilled to bits - I thought my trusty printer was destined for the scrap heap ( although nothing wrong except it would no longer operate due to "ink pad full") and I would have to buy new, until I alighted on your product . Also if the ink pad actually causes problem tyou advise where I can buy a replacement kit and do it myself. You perform a great service to printer users. Well done!

I am amazed! The reset worked on our Epson XP-610 wireless printer without a USB cable connecting the computer and the printer right beside it and below the modem. We are grateful. Now I need to send back the USB cable I ordered; it arrived while we were printing Bible study materials being sent from my wife's Surface Pro in the dining room. The Epson is performing like new! Thank you!

The method described in program was easy to follow. My only problem was having no computer shortcut. The information which came with the key explained it to me, again no problem. It the reset worked. Best buy I have made this Year!! Gerald
