You all rock! Keeping a favorite printer alive! Thanks again😎...it\'s beyond its stated life span, but the reset key resolved my bw issues...it\'s breathing and printing true again after 2 months of frustration! Tony

Very impressed! After a fruitless search for official Epson support for the Waste Ink error I found a YouTube video showing how to remove and clean the ink pads but still needed to reset the counter. After some initial "Is this unofficial 3rd Party Solution a scam?" trepidation I took a chance on the WIC reset tool and now, about half an hour (mainly spent drinking tea and waiting for the key to be emailed) and 6 quid later I have a fully functioning XP-342. In the meantime, Epson UK responded to a message I sent them on Twitter, telling me that I could send the printer away to their service centre for an unspecified period of time and pay them £48 to have the ink pads changed and the counter reset. All with a caveat that having "tampered" with the ink pads myself, the service centre might refuse to fix the printer. Thanks for a great piece of kit which has saved me a lot of time, effort and money.

J'ai acheté une "RESET KEY" et je l'ai reçue correctement. Quand je dois la rentrer dans la fenêtre prévue, il n'y a que quatre caractères et demi qui peuvent entrer. Il est impossible d'en rentrer plus. Quel peut-être le problème ? (Je ne peux donc pas remettre à zéro mon compteur et donc, pour l'instant, j'ai acheté une clé qui ne me sert à rien...) Today my Epson printer stopped working. I have the tool they provide to reset the ink pad counter but it simply reports network error after network error trying to connect to the Epson server.
Since its Christmas eve and I need to print some gifts for my kids I was totally hooped until I found you guys. I just want to thank you for doing what Epson was unable to do. They suck, you rock!
