codul primit prin e-mail - de la ei si in cateva secunde totul functioneaza ca nou.
Imprimanta mea Epson R285 - resetata acum a 2-a oara.
Prima data, de frica am apelat la o persoana, care tot aici a resetat-o.

Thanks for the program and manual. I was able to revive a 2 year old 4900.
I had 100% blockage in 8 of the 11 heads, and over 50% blockage in the last
three.... I ran the ink charge with cleaning fluid. Now I have 100% of the
nozzle check pattern on ALL of the heads. I was blown away. I thought for
sure I was going to pay for a new head. So, thank you.
I also have a an older Epson Stylus Pro 4000. It has been sitting a while
and the heads are dried up. Do you have the same program and manual for
this printer? I would like to try to revive it as well. If you do could
you just send me a link? Thanks again

My Epson R260 quit working- read up online what the cause was (counters in printer).
I downloaded the WIC Utility package and sure enough the counter was at 100.70%.
I downloaded the Reset Key- at first it didn't work. Turned the printer off & on as instructed. Still didn't work. Finally I turned the monitoring on- reset the printer. Then turned monitoring off again and reset the printer & it finally worked.
I think the monitoring just got hung up somehow- computers!!!
I'm very thankful I'm good for another few years. It only cost $9.99 instead of the price of buying another printer (and I have all these ink cartridges that would go to waste)- OR a repair bill & would be without it while being fixed.
Would I buy another Epson printer- NO- but would I recommend 2manuals for the fix- Definitely.

Thank You. I had just bought a new printer and Epson asked to update the firmware...unfortunately in the middle of the update my power shut off. I thought for sure I had deep sixed my brand new device. Even on the Epson website I could not find a manual firmware recover for my printer and OS version...others printers yes, but not this one. I found you website and thought I'd give it a try.
Horray, My printer is back working again. While I am not happy to have to pay someone else for something that Epson should have given for free, your price was with-in reason and your software was easy to use.

An excellent service that works. Don't be fooled by the printer manufacturers that you are trapped into buying their over priced cartridges because you thought you were doing the right thing by upgrading the firmware. The only reason for their upgrade was to stop you from using your own cheaper 3rd party ink cartridges. If you accidentally did do the upgrade as they recommended don't worry as you can undo that costly mistake with the help of "wicreset". It really works. Also did you know that 3rd party cartridges actually contain around 25% more ink than oem cartridges?

My Epson Stylus R280 is printing again! This was my favorite printer for photos and quick single-sided jobs. It printed and printed until the dreaded message and alternating flashing orange lights appeared.
I was skeptical that WicReset could do anything because of the flashing lights. I downloaded the Windows version (XP), virus scanned it and after it passed, installed it. I first tried the trial reset that sets the waste counters to 90%. That worked immediately. I bought a key. That worked immediately and now my printer is working like new and waste counters are near 0.
I use a continuous ink system (CIS) on my Epson printers... have for years. This software also has a nice utility to charge the cartridges and clean the heads. My R280 printer sat for a while after the counters reached limit and the ink lines filled with air. I used the WicReset utility to charge & clean, and now it prints like new.
This software is easy to use and guides you step by step. I encountered no difficulties and everything worked first time. It is very good that there are smart engineers out there who took the time to reverse-engineer Epson's awful ink pad limitations.
One note of caution, and this has nothing to do with WicReset... I print so much and fear my ink pads will truly overflow, so I'll be installing a waste ink tank on my printers. I had one on an ancient R200 printer and it worked great. This is an essential accessory for CIS printers.

I have been struggling with a clogged head on my Epson Pro 4900 for weeks.
The Windex-on-a-papertowel-overnight solution has worked before; however, it was not clearing the nozzles this time.

I purchased the SP4900 program and it was GREAT!
I used the Adjustments (Individual) program on Section 2 Head Related Checks and Adjustments, first at level CL3 then CL2 for the clogged colours channels and voila, my head is now fully functional again.
I have only browsed through the other SP4900 subroutines, but they will provide me with a full suite of maintenance routines that could be very useful in the future.
This program was fantastic. The only inconvenience was that it is a Windows .exe file and I am a Mac OSX user. I had to launch Windows 7 Pro in Fusion and conduct the maintenance; however, with so many Mac users needing this type of help for the Epson Pro printers, it would be great to have an OSX program option too. That being said, if you can run Windows on your computer and have an Epson Pro 4900, I highly recommend this indespensible program. At $29.99 it is a steal compared to calling in a technician.

So had my Epson Pro 4900 disconnected from powersupply for about a month and a half, due to new facilities in my studio. Powered it up, printed a nozzle check, and banged my head against the wall! Only magenta and light cyan did appear, and two broken lines of photo black. Did the Windex trick 5-8 times, and at the 16. nozzlecheck, 9 colours appeared, BUT some actually has got worse, the more Windex the head had.
Preparing myself on making a stronger brew for the cleaning (a lot of Googling and reading!), I came across the Service Program. Reluctant to spill ~ 150 ml of ink, I first moved along (also, the website seemed shady, however, alot of mentions on various foras).
Today I decided 'What the heck, 30 bucks, if it doesn't work, I'll survive', so I purchased a license, installed on a laptop (with USB connection instead of network), and chose the option to prime the left channels first - and WOW: EVERY nozzle on that side now fired, and made an (99%) perfect nozzle check. So did the other side, when finished filling the lines again.
So: 5 f*cking huge stars from me! :)

I downloaded the programme which told me that one waste ink was at 65 % and the other was at 100%
This told me that the programme was communicating with the printer (Another utility I tried would not even talk to the printer.)
This gave me confidence to buy the key to activate the reset.
It worked in seconds and my now perfectly functioning A3+ printer is no longer a pile of scrap.
If only Epson UK were this good!!!

I have an Epson PX710w it is a brilliant printer, happy was I...but then....
the now infamous "end of life" message appeared.
After hours of research I found that Epson had a free download to reset and service printer, I downloaded only to find it did not work.
On contacting epsonuk I was told that there is no reset utility or program for uk Epson printers and that I must take it to my local Epson service centre.... this would cost £80 plus vat and parts! more than a new printer.
After advice from forums and many ebay offers of a "genuine" reset utility/key, I found 2manuals.com.
through them I "chatted" with John who assured me it would work, despite Epson uk advice, and so proceeded to purchase.
from start to finish it took less than ten minutes and I now have a fully working printer for a Meer $10 (about £8)
I cannot recommend this company any higher ..... thank you very much 2manuals and John and one up on big greedy corporation's.

Have had series of 8 Epson Printers. Artisan 837 had over 12700 printed pages and 4000 4x6 photos when it gave up the ghost with "inkpads have reached end of life" error.
I spent hours with Epson Support level 2 and they were very nice. Printer "out of warranty" so how about a new one. Went to Amazon and Bought Epson Expression 860.
Epson support said take Artisan to Epson Authorized Repair Center....I did. They said "it's out of warranty, we can't waste the time (or money) trying to fix it!!"
Used Epson Reset key from Epson 10 times and each time it , the error on inkpads, recurred. The Epson Utility does not do diagnosis like WIC Reset Utility!!
Bottom line...Fixed my own machine for very small price and I am ECSTATIC!

Today my Epson printer stopped working. I have the tool they provide to reset the ink pad counter but it simply reports network error after network error trying to connect to the Epson server.
Since its Christmas eve and I need to print some gifts for my kids I was totally hooped until I found you guys. I just want to thank you for doing what Epson was unable to do. They suck, you rock!

I purchased the epson adjustment program last night and got to work on it today.
I had a clog in C and it would not clear. I ve had my 4900 for over 2 years and have been able to handle them until now.
I learned about this site from another site that has cleaner for the 4900 and said I need to buy this software first. I bought it and tried it with the epson ink that was in my printer. I ran the adjustment and it cleared C but then there were other clogs. Because they werent clogged before I started, I cleared them the normal way through the printers options. Had they not cleared, I would have ran the adjustment again.
I had tried everything to get C to clear for a week and this program did it in one try!
I would highly recommend this for clearing a stubborn clog. And now it is in my arsenal if I get another one that I cant clear down the road. By the way, it does not work if your printer is networked. Mine was so I had to move a computer into the room with my printer, directly connect to it and install the drivers. Then it work fine.
If you got a clog that you cant fix, just buy it.

Amazed that it worked.

Make sure to actually check your waste ink pads or install an external tank. Great I can finally squeeze the life out of my printer. Epson scam artist want you to send it back so they can sell as a refurbished model.
I really don't know why epson doesn't just make this program available them self for free? Until then I can pay $10 instead of a new epson.
